Bodoc (Bois d' Arc) also known as Osage Orange or Hedge, is one of the most
beautiful domestic hardwoods. Colors are bright yellow orange with slightly darker
grain patterns which almost seem to glow when finished with polyurethane.
Bodoc is of medium density, giving it a softer, warmer sound than Cocobola making it
excellent for close calling. Don't worry though, volume is not compromised.
Bodoc calls are finished with several hand rubbed coats of polyurethane to protect
them from the elements, and to ensure that your call will not lose its tune due to swelling.
